You can help fund life saving heart disease research

A skip towards an Australia free of heart disease

We all know or love someone who has been impacted by heart disease.

Around 50 lives are lost each day in Australia due to coronary heart disease, more than any other cause, and it has a devastating impact on the families left behind.

Now there’s something you can do to help.

The Heart Foundation's Skip Your Way for 30 Days is your opportunity to raise funds for heart disease research that will help save lives, while challenging yourself to improve your own heart health by committing to skip every day in November.

Where does

the money go?

By challenging yourself to Skip Your Way for 30 Days this November, you are not only looking after your own heart.

The biggest prize is the impact you are having by raising money to help the Heart Foundation fund life-saving heart disease research.

Here are a few ways your participation will be helping Australian hearts:

$50

could cover the cost of basic tools researchers need to grow heart cells,  such as syringes, test tubes,  and flasks.

$200

could cover the cost of a wearable physical activity tracker, an important tool to help researchers unlock the link between sedentary behaviors and heart health.

$750

could get an entire school skipping by providing a registration kit to join Jump Rope for Heart, improving heart healthy habits and long-term health outcomes.
